This position is a chance to join a dynamic, expanding company with prospects for individual and career growth.Hybrid work schedule: In-office requirement.SUMMARYResponsible for providing administrative support to the Legal Department, including the Contracts Administration team and Alliant's in-house attorneys.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManages the contracts email inbox and maintains the contracts inbox manual.Processes contracts and other legal requests, including distributing requests to appropriate team members, conducting initial research, coordinating review, and gathering required information from different sources.Facilitates completion of various agreements, including populating standard templates, coordinating signatures, and collecting fully signed documents.Updates and maintains the contracts database using the team's contract management system.Coordinates team meetings and prepares meeting agendas.Performs periodic audit of files and databases and helps resolve deficiencies.Interacts with both external and internal stakeholders to support legal and contract requests.Assists with electronic billing administration.Maintains master calendars for contracts and legal projects.Performs administrative duties and periodically assists with special projects for the Legal Department.Assists with the preparation of correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets, including proofreading for formatting, punctuation, and grammar.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceOne (1) or more years of related administrative or general office experienceExperience and general knowledge of the commercial insurance industry is preferredLegal background and paralegal trainingSKILLSExcellent reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skillsGood leadership, problem-solving, and time management skillsExcellent project management; ability to complete multi-faceted projects from start to finishAbility to take initiative and motivation to work independentlyExceptional ability to multitask on multiple high-priority projectsAbility to maintain sensitive information with extreme careAbility to interact well with senior executives and colleaguesGood planning, organizational, and prioritization skillsDesire to grow skills and advance careerProficiency in Microsoft Office productsProficiency in Adobe PDF programProficiency in Microsoft SharePoint a plus, but not requiredExperience working with a contract management system is a plusWe are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
