Legal Assistant

Adams & Martin Group is currently looking for experienced Litigation Assistants in Atlanta!

Responsibilities include:
* Assist attorneys with all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case intake, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
* Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case strategy and argument development
* Manage and organize case files using MyCase and other document management systems for efficient retrieval and review
* Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as motions, discovery requests, contracts, and correspondence with attention to detail
* Coordinate and schedule depositions, court appearances, client meetings, and expert consultations
* Perform document review and data entry tasks to ensure accuracy in case records and billing processes


Qualifications
* Paralegal certification or equivalent legal administrative experience required
* Legal research, and experience using document management systems like iManage or Westlaw
* Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription
* Experience supporting civil litigation and/or insurance defense teams
