ResponsibilitiesManage the day‑to‑day schedules of attorneys, including calendars, travel, conferences, teleconferences, depositions, court appearance dates, pleadings, filing requirements, discovery, evidence‑gathering, mail, and time entries.Prepare and edit documents such as letters, memoranda, briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, and other legal documents from forms, original handwritten materials, or dictation.Maintain, organize, and open case files.Review and revise monthly billing forms.Prepare exhibits and witness files.Answer telephones, take and relay messages with poise and professionalism.Arrange court reporters, video conferencing, depositions, and meetings.Communicate orally and in writing with clients, court reporters, opposing counsel's staff, and internal colleagues.Prepare spreadsheets and presentations using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; use Relativity for e‑discovery.Process reimbursements, expense reports, and check requests.Education RequiredBA/BS degree preferred.Experience RequiredMinimum 5+ years as a Legal Assistant or paralegal.Experience with e‑filings in state and federal courts preferred.Skills RequiredProficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet research, document management, attorney time entry software; advanced calendar management via Outlook.High levels of organization and attention to detail.Ability to work under extreme deadlines while remaining calm.Organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks for more than one attorney.Build collaborative relationships with other functional areas to meet deadlines and solve issues.Occasional overtime may be required to meet urgent needs.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.QualificationsThe expected salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education, licensure or certification, and other factors.
