LHH is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary for a contract opportunity with a respected legal team. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively support attorneys while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff
Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, appointments, and deadlines
Coordinate court filings and maintain organized case files
Handle client communications with professionalism and discretion
Manage incoming calls, emails, and confidential documentation
Schedule travel arrangements, meetings, and conference calls as needed
Assist with document management and records retention processes
Support day-to-day office operations and special projects
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant, or similar role in a law firm or legal department
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and office procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
