Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Day Shift


Shifts: 6:00a-6:00p


Pay - $30-$35/hr based on experience.


Our client is a premier healthcare facility dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive medical care to the community. They are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their night shift team. The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician, providing basic medical care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
    • Provide basic medical care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.
    • Assist with patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility as needed.
    • Record patient information accurately in medical records.
  • Medical Procedures:
    • Prepare and administer injections, change dressings, and insert catheters.
    • Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care.
    • Collect samples for laboratory tests and perform routine laboratory tests as needed.
  • Support Services:
    • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication usage.
    • Respond to patient calls and provide necessary assistance.
    • Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and effective care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
    • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Compliance:
    • Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA guidelines.
    • Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment.
    • Keep up-to-date with continuing education and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Arkansas.
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
