Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Company Overview:

A well-established skilled nursing facility in Manhattan is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team.

Position Overview:

The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for residents of our Skilled Unit (SNF) and Long Term Care Unit. Duties Include;
• Medication Administration, including IVs.
• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Providing resident care and treatments with monitoring of outcome.
• Provide resident and family education.
• Communication with physicians, NPs, families and other health care professionals.
• Supervising CNAs

Requirements:

• NYS CNA or LPN License & Registration
• Updated healthcare resume
• Recent Physical + MMRV + PPD documentation
• Two reference letters
• Valid Photo ID / SSC / I-9 documents
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association

Pay Range: USD $30.88 - USD $33.96 /Hr.
