Our restaurant is seeking an experienced line cook to join our team. The Line Cook is the beating heart of our kitchen and plays a critical role in the Backof House. As a Line Cook, you are responsible for preparing for service by stocking your station, cooking food throughout service, and cleaning and restocking after service. Our ideal candidate is someone with a passion for food and the restaurant industry, as well as having proven experience.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Stock and prepare stations with all necessary supplies.
• Clean and maintain stations while practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure that orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Work closely with your Expo, ensuring that orders are prioritized correctly and item quality is maintained.
• Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department following all health and safety regulations.
• Contributes to a productive work culture by staying focused and finding ways to improve self and others.
• Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a line cook.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and equipment.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods and move frequently.
• Frequently lift and carry 25 - 35 pounds.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
