Job Summary
The Social is looking for a dependable Line Cook to join our kitchen team for approximately 30–36 hours per week. We are a busy neighborhood bar and restaurant with a close-knit, low-turnover team, and we're looking for someone who can keep up in a fast-paced kitchen while still being a good teammate.
You'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items consistently, keeping your station clean and stocked, and working alongside the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house staff to keep service running smoothly. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but we value reliability, a good attitude, communication, and willingness to learn just as much.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
- Maintain appropriate levels of prepped items and prep as needed
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Communicate with other staff respectfully
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification (desired but not required)
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
