Job Summary
Moro's Table, Auburn's premier fine dining restaurant, is looking to hire a Line Cook to join our team.


Ideal Line Cook candidates will have at least 1-2 years line cook experience. This candidate should be able to grill and sauté menu items to order in a fast pace setting. This position also includes cooking fresh pasta to order along with cooking meats and fish to temp. Example: rare, medium rare, medium, etc.  A line cook must be able to follow house recipes, preform minor butchering and prep the menu items for service. Being able to make sauces is preferred, but not a must; we will train this candidate on how we like them done. We are a growing company and there are possibilities for advancement within the team.

Our restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday.
This is a full time position.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
  • Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
  • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
  • Follow all food safety regulations
  • Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management  

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up  to 40 pounds
