Line Cook
El Gaucho Boise is seeking passionate line (Grill) cooks who view cooking as an art and hospitality as a calling. You'll work with premium ingredients and exacting standards, creating dishes that exceed our guests' expectations every service.
You'll be part of a cohesive kitchen team, working efficiently to deliver consistently excellent food. Your skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing food to El Gaucho standards
- Managing multiple tasks in a high-volume kitchen
- Collaborating with FOH and BOH teams
- Maintaining immaculate work areas
- Following all health and safety guidelines
- Contributing to menu development
- Managing inventory and minimizing waste
- Proper food storage and labeling
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years restaurant kitchen experience
- High energy and stamina
- Dependability and reliability
- Strong coordination
- Professional, well-groomed appearance
- Flexibility for nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong hospitality mindset
Compensation: $22-25/hour (DOE)
