Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Fork & Vine Social recipes and standards
- Work assigned stations efficiently during busy services
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Complete daily prep and properly label, date, and store food
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate effectively with chefs, cooks, servers, and other team members
- Monitor food quality and communicate inventory or product needs
- Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Follow all company policies and kitchen procedures
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of professional restaurant kitchen experience required
- Experience working a busy line or high-volume restaurant environment
- Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes consistently
- Ability to work multiple stations when needed
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help the team
- Ability to remain calm and focused during busy services
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
- ServSafe certification is a plus
