Friendship Village of Dublin is looking for our next Cook's Assistant
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality, adhering to recipes guidelines
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with regulations
- Present meals attractively, with attention to detail and consistency
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support special dietary needs and personalized resident requests with care and professionalism
- Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented work culture that reflects our mission values
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a line cook or in a food prep role (senior living, healthcare, or hospitality a plus)
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of proper food handling and cooking techniques
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality and service
- A team player with excellent communication and time-management skills
