Position: Line Cook ($21-$25 + Tip Sharing)
Location: La Jolla, California
Schedule: Consistent schedules with 5 shifts per week
Position Overview
We’re hiring experienced line cooks to join our high-volume coastal restaurant in La Jolla, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with ocean views. This is a fast-paced but well-organized kitchen with a strong team and a focus on quality execution.
Pay & Schedule:
- $21-25/hr + tip pool (dependent on experience)
- Part-time with up to 5 shifts per week
- Consistent schedules (AM and PM shifts available)
- Weekends required
Available Shifts:
- AM: 6:00am–2:30pm
- PM: 2:00pm–10:30pm
- Set days off: Monday & Tuesday
What You’ll Do:
- Execute hot or cold line dishes with consistency and attention to detail
- Work clean, organized, and efficiently during high-volume service
- Maintain proper food safety, prep, and station organization
- Communicate clearly with team and expeditor during service
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of line experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking fundamentals
- Ability to stay focused and composed under pressure
- Reliable, team-oriented mindset
