Line Cook

Looking for strong Cooks. PROMOTIONS AVAILABLE for those who go after the position, learn our kitchen and are willing and able to take-on supervisory duties. We always favor promoting from within. Cook pay is based on performance. Cooks also receive tips.

Our work hours are Mon-Fri 6AM-4PM, SAT-Sun 6AM-7PM must have good availability and mandatory weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

• Practice safe and sanitary food-handling
  
• Experienced in fast paced environment
  
• Respect heairchy in the kitchen
  
• Open to cross training, to substitute or assist other cooks during rush periods.
  
• Help with prep on downtime.
  
• Keep immediate area and kitchen clean.
  
• Basic knowledge of prep.
  
• Must be willing to deep clean.
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or other related fields.
  
• Knowledge of common food safety practices.
  
• Strong will to be devoted and do more for the kitchen.
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
  
• Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

• 4PM-6PM
  

Typical start time:

• 6AM
