Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods including appetizers, main courses, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up the cooking station with all necessary supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all food is prepared and served following health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, appliances, and work areas.
• Help in stocking and maintaining the inventory of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with the training of new kitchen staff as needed to promote teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2 years' experience as a line cook or in a similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a cooperative team player attitude.
• A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation and handling.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
