Line Cook - Steelbach

As a Line Cook at Steelbach, you'll be a key player on our culinary team, executing dishes with consistency, speed, and precision during high-volume service. You'll work station-by-station alongside our kitchen leadership to bring our Southern-inspired menu to life, maintaining the quality and craftsmanship our guests expect on every plate. Must have availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. 

What You'll Do

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
• Maintain accurate food inventories
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized throughout and at the end of your shift
• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume setting
• Working knowledge of basic culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Florida Food Handler Certification

Physical Requirements

• Remain standing for extended periods throughout the shift
• Bending, squatting, and lifting up to 15 lbs. for short distances
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with varying noise levels
