Pay: $155,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Location: New York City, NY. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in a premier legal market, offering exposure to sophisticated commercial litigation matters.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in New York and have at least 3 years of commercial and business litigation experience.

Job Description

• Represent clients in commercial and business litigation matters.
• Handle breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and other complex commercial litigation cases.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, document production, depositions, and motion practice.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Develop litigation strategies while working closely with clients and senior attorneys.
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple active matters.

Qualifications

• Active New York Bar license required.
• 3+ years of commercial and business litigation experience.
• Courtroom experience required.
• Experience managing all phases of pre-trial discovery.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
