The Litigation Legal Assistant will provide critical general administrative support to a team of 8 attorneys, as well as prepare state/federal filing, draft documents, create tables of contents/authorities, and maintain litigation calendars.

Description
- Prepare, review, and file state and federal court pleadings, motions, and related litigation documents in accordance with court rules and deadlines.
- Draft correspondence, legal documents, discovery materials, and other case-related filings for attorney review.
- Create and maintain Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities for briefs, motions, and other court submissions.
- Manage and update litigation calendars, tracking court deadlines, filing requirements, hearings, depositions, and key case milestones.
- Coordinate electronic filings through state and federal court systems and ensure timely submission of all required documents.
- Coordinate with attorneys to schedule meetings, court appearances, and depositions.
- Assist with document production and discovery processes.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed.
- Maintain and update case calendars, deadlines, and schedules.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and managing correspondence.
- Support attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and managing case materials.
Profile
A successful Litigation Legal Assistant should have:
- 5+ years of litigation legal support experience.
- Ability to work in office 3 days a week 9:00-5:30.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and litigation procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy environment.
