LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with a background in insurance defense to join a collaborative litigation team. This fully onsite position with a respected law firm offers the opportunity to provide direct support to attorneys and paralegals in a sophisticated insurance defense litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
E-filing, Managing calendars, schedules, and daily administrative tasks for attorneys and litigation teams
Coordinating meetings, deadlines, and case-related activities to ensure timely progression
Drafting and handling legal correspondence, including letters, memos, and filings
Organizing, maintaining, and updating digital and physical case files
Conducting legal and case law research to support litigation efforts
Preparing, formatting, and reviewing legal documents for accuracy and compliance
Assisting with billing and administrative tasks related to cases
Maintaining strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Substantial experience in complex civil litigation or similar legal roles is highly desirable.
Expertise in e-Filing, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional organizational and administrative abilities with a strong emphasis on precision and detail.
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and style.
Proficient in proofreading to ensure documents are error-free and meet high standards.
Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field is required.
Anticipated Salary Range: $60K to $70K
