Job Description
Our client is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant role that supports attorneys and paralegals in preparing for litigation and trials. The firm specializes in representing mesothelioma victims nationwide and is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive professional who can thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Someone with legal administrative experience who is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable supporting litigation teams through all stages of case preparation, from scheduling and document management to trial support.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation calendars, including court hearings, depositions, and deadlines.
- Prepare, file, and serve legal documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials.
- Maintain case information in the firm's client management system.
- Coordinate travel, expense reports, and deposition scheduling.
- Prepare trial materials, including binders, exhibits, tracking charts, and document productions.
- Provide administrative and logistical support during trial preparation

Qualifications
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of legal or related administrative experience is preferred. However, if a candidate has 3-4 years' related experience, higher salary may be warranted.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
