Job Title: Litigation Secretary - Labor and Employment
Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Hybrid)
Pay: Competitive salary with benefits
Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Our client is a well-regarded labor and employment law firm, recognized for providing high-quality legal services to businesses across the country. They are seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their team. This direct hire role plays a vital part in keeping cases organized, documents accurate, and deadlines met while supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process.

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare and format legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and correspondence
  • File documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing
  • Review and proofread all materials to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain and update client files and attorney calendars using Outlook and CompuLaw
  • Arrange travel and schedule meetings for attorneys
  • Enter, review, and revise timekeeper timesheets
  • Prepare reimbursements, mileage, and vendor invoices
  • Provide telephone support and occasional receptionist coverage
  • Assist with pre-bill and client billing processes
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a litigation secretary
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Experience with Lexis Nexis, Pacer, ECF, CompuLaw, and Concur
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, document formatting, and litigation procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
