Litigation Secretary - Civil Litigation (Onsite | Irvine, CA)

Compensation: $85K - $105K, commensurate with experience
Location: Irvine, CA
Onsite Policy: Fully onsite

We are partnering with a respected law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Secretary to support a busy threeattorney desk within a civil litigation practice. This position requires strong knowledge of California court procedures, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to three civil litigation attorneys
  • Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
  • Electronically file documents in California state and federal courts
  • Maintain and manage litigation calendars, deadlines, court dates, and filings
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors
  • Assist with trial preparation, including binders, exhibits, and witness materials
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, including service of documents
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation secretary experience, preferably in civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of California court rules, procedures, and deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience with state and federal efiling
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with legal document management and calendaring systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously
  • Familiarity with trial preparation and courtroom procedures
  • Notary Public is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation $85,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience
