Legal Secretary (Litigation)
Our client, a well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a senior partner and assist with all aspects of personal injury litigation. Unlike a traditional personal injury practice, the firm fosters a collaborative and professional environment where attorneys and staff work closely together to deliver exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of providing seamless support to both the partner and paralegal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage service of process and filing of complaints
- Track deadlines, court orders, and case progression
- Coordinate with attorneys and docketing on timelines
- Handle discovery tracking and documentation
- Maintain attorney calendars (manual + electronic)
- Assist with medical records requests and file management
- Order medical records
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary experience in personal injury
- Plaintiff-side experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of litigation workflow, service of process, and deadlines
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable in both paper and electronic file systems

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $60,000–$65,000 + bonus opportunity
