Administrative - Horizon Center, 10325 Meanley Drive, San Diego, California, United States of AmericaJob DescriptionPosted Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 7:00 AMEscrow OfficerCompensation: $29.00 - $36.00 hourlyActual compensation within this range will be determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and other job-related considerations permitted by law.As a Escrow Officer , you'll serve as a key partner in facilitating smooth, compliant, and successful property transfers while providing an outstanding client experience.If you're detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and passionate about helping clients navigate one of life's most important financial transactions, we'd love to hear from you.What We OfferCompetitive compensation18 days of PTO during your first year12 paid holidays annuallyFull 6% 401(k) matchComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageLife insurance and additional voluntary benefitsEmployee wellness resources, including an on-site gymAn award-winning workplace cultureWhat You'll DoManage Escrow Transactions from Start to FinishOpen, manage, fund, and close a variety of escrow transactions, including residential, commercial, refinance, and FSBO transactions.Prepare, assemble, and review escrow instructions, deeds, settlement statements, and other required closing documents.Ensure all escrow files are accurate, complete, and compliant with company and industry standards.Coordinate Successful ClosingsReview and execute closing documents with buyers, sellers, and other parties.Prepare closing figures and settlement statements for all parties involved.Assist lenders in satisfying funding and closing requirements.Ensure all conditions are met prior to funding and closing.Resolve Title and Transaction IssuesCoordinate with title companies to satisfy title requirements and clear title issues.Verify ownership, resolve liens and encumbrances, and prepare transactions for title insurance.Facilitate solutions to issues that may impact closing timelines.Deliver Exceptional Client ServiceServe as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.Provide timely updates regarding file status and transaction progress.Build strong professional relationships through excellent verbal and written communication.Ensure a positive and seamless closing experience for all parties.Post-Closing & ComplianceDisburse funds once all conditions have been satisfied.Maintain accurate records and digitize files following closing.Adhere to all Mission Fed policies, security procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.Complete required compliance and regulatory training.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of escrow industry experience with responsibilities comparable to this role.Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Escrow Officer.Strong understanding of escrow and title industry practices, procedures, and documentation.Ability to obtain and maintain required bonding.Ability to successfully pass applicable background screening requirements.Preferred QualificationsExperience with:Mobile home transactionsBulk transfer transactionsPreferred experience with:Microsoft Office SuiteRBJSMSFPSOther escrow and title software platformsMission Federal Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
