Loan Administration Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Book and service a variety of commercial, consumer, real estate, agricultural, construction, and participation loans.
• Review, verify, and board loans to ensure compliance with approved loan commitments, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Process loan payments, advances, maintenance, refinances, extensions, payoffs, and online loan transactions.
• Prepare and maintain loan documentation, collateral records, UCC filings, lien perfection, escrow accounts, and force-placed insurance.
• Manage participation and syndicated loan servicing, payment calculations, settlements, and reporting.
• Review daily loan administration reports, resolve exceptions, and perform quality control on loan files and system uploads.
• Maintain collateral vault records and ensure loan documentation is properly imaged and archived.
• Assist internal and external customers with loan servicing inquiries and provide exceptional customer support.
• Cross-train within the Loan Administration department and support additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation, loan boarding, collateral perfection, and security instrument filings.
• Experience with participation/syndicated loans and loan servicing processes preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and confidentiality standards.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
