Sigma Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to support warehouse operations at our client's facility in Fremont, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for warehouse professionals with GMP warehouse experience, RF scanner experience, and strong inventory control skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping, receiving, picking, packing, cycle counting, inventory management, material handling equipment, and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pick customer orders accurately using an RF scanner (RF gun).
Pack, stage, weigh, and load products for internal and external shipments.
Prepare shipping and warehouse documentation accurately.
Perform daily cycle counts using RF scanners and assist with inventory reconciliation.
Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to Inventory Control.
Monitor warehouse supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas.
Perform light housekeeping and basic warehouse maintenance.
Follow all Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP guidelines, and safety policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, safety training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Operate warehouse material handling equipment including:
Pallet Jacks
Pallet Transfer Equipment
Shrink Wrappers
Shrink Bundlers
Strapping Machines
Pallet Scales
Conveyor Systems
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
Support daily warehouse operations while meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of GMP warehouse experience.
Experience using RF scanners (RF guns).
Experience with:
Picking
Packing
Shipping
Receiving
Staging
Inventory Control
Cycle Counting
Ability to learn and follow SOPs, Work Instructions, and regulatory requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Reliable transportation (may work at multiple warehouse locations).
Ability to maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using SAP or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Microsoft Office experience, including:
Excel
Outlook
Word
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or regulated warehouse environments.
Physical Requirements
Regularly lift and move up to 20 lbs.
Frequently lift and move up to 40 lbs.
Occasionally lift and move up to 60 lbs with assistance.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform warehouse duties throughout the shift.
