Job Overview
Sigma Inc. is seeking a Logistics Support Coordinator for an onsite role in Boston. This position supports the Facilities department within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and plays a key role in day-to-day logistics, mailroom operations, and office support.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for candidates with experience in logistics coordination, facilities support, or office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics and facilities support across multiple sites
- Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail within the building
- Handle package deliveries (e.g., UPS, FedEx, courier services)
- Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings/events
- Assist with office moves, relocations, and modular furniture setup
- Use basic hand tools (cordless drills, levels, tape measures)
- Support large-scale relocation and logistics projects as needed
- Collaborate with staff, vendors, landlords, and IT teams
- Travel between locations (Boston & Quincy) for operational support
- Enter and manage data in facilities ticketing systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, facilities, mailroom, or operations support
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Ability to lift 35–50 lbs regularly
- Experience using basic hand tools (drill, tape measure, level)
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting office relocations or facilities projects
- Familiarity with ticketing or facilities management systems (CAFM)
- Experience working with government or large organizations
