Job Title: LPN - LTC
Location: Bismarck, ND
Position Type: Travel / Local
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Variable Night Shift – 12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36–48 hours (Rotating schedule with every other weekend required)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking LPN - LTC for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bismarck, ND.
Position Review / Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to long term care and skilled nursing residents
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor and document resident conditions and responses to treatment
- Provide trach and vent care as required
- Perform wound care and tube feed management
- Maintain accurate charting and nursing documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and quality of care
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Active LPN License required
- Previous LTC or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable caring for residents with trachs, vents, tube feeds, and wounds
- Ability to work rotating night schedules and every other weekend
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
Preferred Qualifications:
- IV Certification preferred but not required
- Previous LTAC experience preferred
- Matrix Charting experience preferred
- Experience with vent and trach patients preferred
- Wound care and tube feed experience preferred
Certifications / Licenses:
- Active LPN License (Required)
- IV Certification (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
