Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Machine Operators for a busy manufacturing operation in Ashland.

This is a hands-on production opportunity where you'll operate manufacturing equipment, remove completed products, inspect your work for quality, and prepare finished products for packaging.

Previous machine-operation experience is helpful, but we're also interested in dependable manufacturing candidates who are comfortable learning equipment, staying active, and keeping up with production.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay: $15.25 - $17.25 /hour based on shift

What You'll Do

• Operate large manufacturing equipment
• Monitor equipment throughout the production process
• Remove completed products from production equipment
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Identify and report visible product defects
• Prepare completed products for packaging
• Keep materials and finished products moving through the work area
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures
• Work with your team to meet daily production goals

What We're Looking For

• Dependable attendance and consistent work habits
• Comfortable learning and operating manufacturing equipment
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Strong attention to product quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
• Comfortable standing and staying active throughout the shift
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Ability to follow work instructions and established safety procedures
• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or production experience is helpful
• No high school diploma or GED required
