Impact Employment Solutions is currently hiring Machine Operators for a food manufacturing facility in Lima, Ohio. We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who have experience operating production equipment and are comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery used for filling, weighing, and packaging food products.
Set up and adjust equipment to ensure proper operation.
Monitor conveyors, packaging equipment, and product weights.
Inspect finished products for proper packaging, seals, labeling, and quality.
Replenish packaging materials and supplies as needed.
Identify equipment malfunctions and report issues to supervisors.
Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
Follow food safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety guidelines.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.
Assist with additional production duties as needed.
Job Requirements
Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to lift 40–60 pounds regularly.
Comfortable standing and working for 12-hour shifts.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and powered lifting equipment.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work in temperature-controlled or refrigerated environments.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
