Job Title: Injection Molding Machine Tender (Plastics Manufacturing)
Pay & Benefits: $16.75–$17.25/hr (based on shift) with contract-to-hire opportunity. Once hired in, you’ll receive a $0.50/hr raise, plus additional reviews at 6 months and 1 year (annual reviews after that). Benefits when hired in include medical (90/10 plan; available after 60 days on payroll), dental, vision, 401(k) with 4% match (eligible after 90 days; enrollment windows), short-term disability, life insurance, paid holidays, and vacation (1 week after your first year). Overtime is typically available during the week.
Hours & Location: Berea, OH
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 11:30 PM–8:00 AM
3rd shift trains on 1st shift for 4–8 weeks - 7:00AM-3:30PM
Job Responsibilities:
Tend plastic injection molding machines that are already set up and running
Remove molded parts from bins and separate runners from finished parts
Sort runners and parts into the correct containers
Perform visual quality inspection to catch defects
Monitor 2–3 machines at a time and keep your area organized
Required Qualifications:
Reliable attendance and a steady, long-term mindset
Comfortable with repetitive, hands-on work and standing most of the shift (limited sitting)
Able to lift 5–10 lbs and work at a consistent pace
Willing to learn and follow instructions closely in a manufacturing/production environment
Work Environment: You’ll work in a clean, team-focused plastic injection molding shop making small parts used in major industries. Dress is jeans, t-shirt, closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses are provided.
