Machinist / CNC Operator \u2013 Farnborough\n \nWho are we:\n \nAuxitrol Weston Operating Unit (OU) consists of 3 manufacturing plants, Auxitrol SAS (France), Weston Aerospace Ltd (UK), Auxitrol Weston (Mexico), with 3 R&D departments in France, UK and Norwich Aero Products Inc (US) along with 4 repair capabilities in France, UK, US & Singapore.\n \nWeston Aerospace Ltd has approximately 188 employees at Farnborough whose responsibilities are to design and manufacture temperature, speed and pressure sensors for gas turbine and airframe applications.\n \nWe have extensive environmental test facilities to verify our products' performance, replicating and exceeding hostile operating conditions.\n \nWe have another smaller manufacturing site dedicated to analogue indicators, based in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire with 14 employees.\n \nRole & Job Summary:\n \nKey Responsibilities\n\n Programming, setting and operating using Mazak machine tools & controls working with a variety of aerospace super alloys\n Programme/set/run DMG MORI Sprint 32 sliding heads\n Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation \n Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department \n Support quick turnaround innovation tasks \n Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross- training within department\n Further opportunities exist to expand skills in CNC grinding \n \nKey Requirements\n\n Must be self-sufficient and able to programme/set/run DMG MORI Sprint 32 sliding heads and is conversant with FANUC control systems\n Experience with Milling & Turning (Milling bias highly desirable) \n Demonstrable (5yrs+) experience in an aerospace or other highly regulated production environment preferred\n Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team \n \nCompetencies \n\n Customer Focus Knows and understands the needs of internal and external customers.
