## Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead skilled maintenance personnel within a large-scale heavy manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supervising union maintenance employees, coordinating planned and unplanned maintenance activities, and providing technical troubleshooting guidance to support safe, reliable production operations.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Supervise union maintenance employees, providing technical guidance, training, and day-to-day leadership.
2. Coordinate and execute planned and unplanned maintenance work to support production goals and minimize equipment downtime.
3. Prioritize and assign maintenance tasks based on equipment criticality, operational needs, and available resources.
4. Support equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and rapid problem resolution.
5. Lead safety discussions and job-specific safety reviews to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Coordinate crew assignments, staffing coverage, and work schedules in accordance with applicable labor agreements.
7. Monitor crew performance with an emphasis on safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.
8. Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to improve equipment performance and resolve operational challenges.

**Qualifications:**

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
3. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports.
4. Strong mechanical maintenance knowledge and equipment troubleshooting skills.
5. Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
6. Experience working in a union environment or supervising union employees preferred.
7. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
8. Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.

**Schedule:**

• 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts.
• Rotates between day and night shifts approximately every 2–4 months.
• Night shift hours: 4:30 PM–4:30 AM.
