Maintenance Tech (Entry Level)

PPS is seeking an entry level Facilities Maintenance Technician for our fabrication operation in Parma Hts. The primary role will be to perform basic facility maintenance and preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment. This is a full-time, permanent, direct hire role with excellent benefits (profit sharing bonuses and on-site gym!) and a high ceiling for growth with a 100-year old company!

Responsibilities:  

• Safety is your No.1 priority.

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and routine building inspections to identify possible issues.

• Replace broken fixtures and hardware.

• Assist with painting as needed.

• Assist maintenance and intensive cleaning tasks.

• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.

• Assist with onsite contractors.

• Assist with snow removal using snow blowers and or shovel.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Knowledge of general hand tools, and small power tools

• Mechanical skills

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to regularly lift items that are 50 lbs.

• Valid driver's license

• General maintenance, facilities maintenance, electrical or plumbing experience is a plus.
