Maintenance Technician – Apartment Communities

Macae Fidelity is seeking an experienced, dependable Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position is responsible for maintaining apartment units, common areas, and property grounds while providing timely and professional service to our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete resident work orders accurately and promptly
• Perform apartment make-readies/turns
• Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain common areas, grounds, and property appearance
• Respond to emergency and after-hours maintenance calls as scheduled
• Diagnose maintenance issues and communicate needed parts or outside vendor services
• Document work performed, labor hours, and materials used
• Take and upload before-and-after photos when required
• Assist with property inspections
• Pick up approved parts and supplies as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Communicate professionally with residents, managers, and vendors

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, and general maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel between assigned properties when necessary
• Must have basic tools appropriate for the position
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance duties
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Must be dependable and able to respond to emergency calls when assigned
