Job Description
Job PurposePerforming maintenance on the building and equipment as needed that involves preventive maintenance as well as diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production emergencies
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Maintain clean housekeeping guidelines while repairs are being completed
- Initiate and recommend solutions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities or unsafe conditions.
- Skills and Experience:
- Five Years of Manufacturing Maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience with operating forklift and crane equipment
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proven Safety Record
- Flexibility to work overtime or emergency coverage when needed

What is Crew Transportation? Most of us never think about how railroad train crews get home after they drive trains to their destinations, but those crews need to return home and new, rested crews need to be taken to those trains. In summary, the process of driving those crews from point to point is crew transportation. Much like a shuttle service, PTI receives around-the-clock requests from our railroad customers to pick up and drop off train crews. PTI dispatchers match up drivers with these trips and the drivers safely transport the crews to their destinations. Taking place thousands of times a day, these trips can range from a few miles to a few hundred miles.
