Description
A growing manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment including stamping presses, weld cells, conveyors, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, PLCs, and automated machinery.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both electrical and mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment and the ability to quickly diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on stamping presses, weld cells, and automated machinery
Diagnose and repair motors, sensors, control circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and mechanical systems
Troubleshoot PLCs and automated equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and machine improvements
Support production teams by responding quickly to maintenance needs
Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
Requirements:
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, conveyors, and automated equipment
PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
Ability to read schematics and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Journeyman Electrician certification or related technical education preferred
