Job Description: Mid-Level Maintenance Technician

Role Overview:

Biz-hire.com is seeking a mid-level Maintenance Technician capable of performing independent machine maintenance, including corrective, preventative, and predictive repairs.

Responsibilities:

Perform all duties of Maintenance Technician I.

Receive and complete assigned work orders on equipment daily.

Assist in diagnosing machinery and equipment malfunctions.

Adhere to high safety standards both on and off the production floor.

Conduct corrective maintenance for all shop machinery, seeking specialist support when necessary.

Execute preventive maintenance on machinery according to daily schedules.

Perform predictive maintenance, report potential failures, and develop solutions.

Utilize FIIX Software for daily work order reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Ability to work day shifts and overtime

Proficiency in PC, Word, Excel, and Windows OS

Mechanical expertise and electrical understanding

Knowledge of safety practices, including Lock Out Tag Out and adherence to safety regulations/guidelines

Experience:

Repair of material handling equipment

Predictive and preventative maintenance

Woodworking, cabinet manufacturing fabrication

Three years of documented industrial maintenance experience preferred

Physical Demands:

Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching

Full manual dexterity in hands and wrists

High frequency of walking

Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet, manual, and wrist motion

Ability to work in various conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, noise, and uneven surfaces

Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours and lift 50 lbs without assistance
