SALARY: $ 70,304

Schedule - Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday-Friday

What you will be doing: Reports to the director, programs. Directly supervises the secretary I, disability coordinator, test proctor, scheduling clerk, attendance clerk, academic instructor driver's education instructor, and substitute instructors. Responsible for the management of academic programs in compliance with government and management directives.

Essential functions:

Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the academic department.

Monitor and manage all instructors within the academic department to ensure full compliance regarding teaching strategies and classroom management.

Facilitate weekly meetings with staff members to review center goals, outcomes, expectations as well as new center initiatives.

Ensure all property is accounted for in all classroom areas

Assist in preparation of the departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures. Review and recommend changes to budge authorizations.

Ensure proper data integrity of all academic testing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, one of which should be supervisory. Experience working with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
