Job DescriptionThe Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support strategic financial planning.Essential Duties:Perform general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets and profit and loss statements.Maintains the general ledger.Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit/review.Ensures that reported financial results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.Presents recommendations to management on financial objectives and policies.Provides financial analysis to operations leadership.Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.RequirementsSkills, Knowledge, Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proficient in accounting software.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Exhibit growth mindset and collaborative behaviors.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with professionals internal and external to the company and across geographic locations.Exhibit growth mindset and team-orientated behaviors.Navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment.Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.CPA certification preferred.Experience:Minimum of five years of accounting experience required.Minimum of 1-3 years experience leading an accounting team.Healthcare experience preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
