Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in New York, New York.

Work You'll Do

Manage the end-to-end journey for information technology projects from On-Premise to Cloud within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Manage the design and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging Cloud-based platforms. Manage day-to-day interactions with information technology projects executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence in connection to information technology projects.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in business administration, in any STEM field or a related field and 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Participating in the creation of innovative and transformative Cloud-based technology solutions to address clients' next generational needs, creating effective IT visions, strategies and roadmaps utilizing Microsoft (MS) Office 365 and Miro;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that meet client needs, utilizing MS Teams and MS Office 365;
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders utilizing Jira and Asana;
• Participating in the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks, utilizing MS Teams, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies;
• Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing MS SharePoint and Confluence;
• Mapping current and creating to-be business service flows that help design components for online applications, utilizing flow charts, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), and State-Machine and Rules-Driven Workflow techniques; and
• Designing scalable, secure, and efficient technical Cloud ecosystems to support enterprise applications and integrating with On-Premise and Cloud applications, utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Well-Architected Framework and Google Cloud Architecture Framework.

Annual Salary: $159,100.00 - $265,100.00
