    Job Description

Step into Manufacturing as a Changeover Pro

Join our production floor in an entry-level capacity where your focus is preparing equipment for the next product run and handling weigh-up or packaging tasks. Your attention to detail helps us deliver the right product, on time, at the best cost—always aligned with our procedures and customer specifications.

    A Day in the Role

You arrive ready to turn the line over for a new product. You complete thorough changeover cleaning so startup is smooth. You pull batch paperwork, confirm ingredients are correct, and—when needed—gather materials for mixing and weigh them to the exact recipe. You set up weigh-up or packaging machinery and verify every control follows operating and safety requirements. If something’s off, you loop in the right people immediately. Throughout the shift, you keep Production Operators supplied with materials so equipment runs efficiently, document what you do, and uphold safety and housekeeping standards.

    What You’ll Handle

    • Execute machine changeover cleaning to enable efficient startups.
    • Retrieve batch documentation; confirm the correct ingredients are at the workstation.
    • As needed, obtain ingredients for mixing and weigh to meet recipe specifications.
    • Set up and start weigh-up or packaging equipment; check controls against operating and safety procedures.
    • Report issues, problems, or concerns to the appropriate contacts promptly.
    • Support Production Operators by supplying materials and assistance to keep equipment running.
    • Complete and maintain all required records and documents.
    • Follow all safety policies, work rules, and housekeeping expectations.

    Quality, Cost, and Delivery

In this role, you help ensure we produce the highest-quality product at the lowest feasible cost while meeting customer requirements and delivery timelines, all in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    Requirements

    • Frequently lift or move up to 55 pounds; occasionally handle up to 250 pounds.
    • Regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to handle tools or controls; communicate and hear.
    • Work in generally moderate noise with some high-noise areas.
    • Use required PPE appropriate to the work area: safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc.

    Baseline Qualifications

    • Warehouse experience
    • High School diploma or GED

    Legal Notices from Original Posting
