This position is part of Novanta’s Robotics & Automation business unit. The BU is the world-leading engineering-based developer of robotic accessories and robot arm tooling, including Automatic Tool Changers, Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensing Systems, Utility Couplers, Material Removal Tools, Robotic Collision Sensors, Manual Tool Changers, and Compliance Devices. Our robot end-effector products are found in thousands of successful applications around the world.
Summary
We are seeking a Director of Marketing, Demand Generation to lead our strategic marketing initiatives focused on lead generation and revenue growth. In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive demand generation strategies, collaborating closely with our sales and marketing teams. You will be responsible for overseeing paid campaigns, using analytics to drive decisions, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
Your expertise in marketing automation, CRM software, and data-driven decision-making will be crucial in optimizing our marketing efforts. If you have a strong background in demand generation within a B2B environment and are a skilled leader, we encourage you to apply.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align efforts and drive revenue.
Use data and analytics to measure and improve performance.
Develop and maintain relationships with partners and influencers.
Conduct market and customer research.
Create and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.
Measure and report on campaign success using key metrics.
Resolve challenges within the demand generation process.
Provide team training and support on best practices and tools.
Experience in demand generation through paid campaigns on platforms like Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau is a plus.
General Tasks
Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
Implementation of the instructions of the quality / environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training and Competencies
Possess extensive experience leading marketing initiatives and teams in a business-to-business environment.
Be able to lead and motivate a team of marketing professionals effectively.
Possess deep understanding of market trends and customer behavior to inform marketing strategies and data-driven decisions.
Ability to influence without authority and demonstrate comfort collaborating with executive leaders.
Be able to anticipate and resolve complex issues and make critical decisions.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $158,000 to $175,000 annually based on full-time employment. Compensation offers are determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to location, relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
Certain positions may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and/or long-term incentive programs. Incentive eligibility and structure may vary depending on the applicable plan and may be discretionary or non-discretionary.
