TempExperts is partnering with a cutting-edge healthcare organization that is transforming cardiac rehabilitation through advanced telemedicine and connected medical technology.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys patient interaction, care coordination, and working alongside clinical teams to support a virtual, home-based rehab program that improves patient outcomes and quality of life. What Youll Do:
Communicate with patients regarding appointments, scheduling updates, and program participation.
Schedule and reschedule rehab sessions while ensuring proper clinical coverage.
Coordinate with Rehab Specialists, Clinical Leads, Dieticians, and medical staff.
Assist with onboarding patients and educating them on program expectations and equipment.
Support intake processes, including guidance on monitoring devices (EKG, pulse oximeter, blood pressure cuff).
Troubleshoot basic technical issues during virtual sessions and coordinate with IT as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems.
Help improve scheduling workflows and patient experience processes.
Develop contingency plans for staffing gaps or scheduling conflicts.
Deliver excellent customer service to a diverse patient population.
Support program improvement initiatives and additional duties as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
5+ years of Medical Assistant or similar clinical support experience.
2+ years of scheduling or care coordination experience.
Cardiology or cardiac rehab experience preferred.
Experience working with EMR systems.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Comfortable working onsite in Clearwater, FL.
Strong patient-focused and compassionate mindset.
