Key Responsibilities:- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, scheduling updates, and program participation.
- Schedule and reschedule rehab sessions while ensuring proper clinical coverage.
- Coordinate with Rehab Specialists, Clinical Leads, Dieticians, and other medical staff.
- Assist with onboarding patients and educating them on program equipment and expectations.
- Support patients during intake processes including guidance on placement of monitoring devices such as EKG, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure cuff.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during virtual sessions and coordinate with IT when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Help improve scheduling workflows and patient experience processes.
- Develop contingency plans for staffing gaps or scheduling conflicts.
- Provide excellent customer service to a diverse patient population.
- Support program improvement initiatives and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of Medical Assistant or similar clinical support experience.
- 2+ years of scheduling or care coordination experience.
- Cardiology or cardiac rehab experience preferred.
- Experience using EMR systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Comfortable working onsite in Clearwater.
- Strong patient-focused mindset
