Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking Per Diem Medical Assistants to support our clinical teams across Connecticut. This flexible role helps cover shifts related to employee leaves, call-outs, and fluctuating patient volume.Key Responsibilities:• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, PCR testing, specimen collection, and wound care• Support daily clinic operations and ensure a positive patient experience• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environmentQualifications:• High school diploma or GED preferred• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred• Prior urgent care or clinical experience strongly preferred• Experience with EHR/EMR systems• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)• Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills• Availability to accept shifts as needed, including short-notice coverageWhat We Offer:• Competitive per diem pay based on experience• Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends• Supportive, team-based work environmentReady to Support Care When It Counts?If you’re a dependable, adaptable Medical Assistant looking for flexible work and the opportunity to make an immediate impact, we’d love to connect.
