Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday | 4 Days/Week | 10 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $22 - $24/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide front-office and back-office clinical support, including patient rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, scheduling, documentation, and patient support.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to an externship
• Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Strong front-office and back-office clinical support experience
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• BLS or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet, check in, and room patients
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and clinical information
• Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipuncture
• Administer vaccines and provide clinical support
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing
• Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming calls
• Support front-office and back-office operations
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR
• Communicate with patients, providers, and center staff
• Assist with health education and patient outreach
• Follow clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures
• Provide additional administrative and clinical support as needed
