General Duties
Under the general supervision of the President & CEO, the Medical Director is responsible for all aspects of the overall administration of the Clinical Department in accordance with accepted national standards and established NEON policy.
Education
Licensed physician in the State of Ohio.
Minimum Qualifications • Physician have never been sanctioned by any licensing board in the United States or Canada. • Physician has never lost privileges at any hospital for reasons related to clinical performance. • Board-certified in a primary care i.e. internal medicine, pediatrics, family practice, or obstetrics and gynecology. • Full-time clinical practice in a primary care field for at least 4 years after completion of primary care specialty training. • Full-time clinical practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center for at least 3 years. • Experience in health care administration.
Technical Skills
Demonstrated knowledge and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Ability to learn and operate NextGen software applications.
