About the Role:Seema Y Haque MD PA is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information in the EMR system
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and presentable
Requirements:- Prior experience in a medical front desk or healthcare administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
