Next JS / React Developer

Location: Dearborn, Michigan (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a developer to develop and maintain the front-end of web applications. This role is responsible for the design and implementation of the user interface and user experience. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases, pain points, and requirements.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Align with architecture guidelines for a unified and coherent approach to development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product owners, designers, and back-end developers.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes to visualize new features and participate in user interface design reviews.
• Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality development.
• Continuously improve performance by fixing bugs and optimizing the application.
• Implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and keep up to date with emerging technologies.
• Design, develop, and deliver a user-friendly interactive experience using enterprise brand standards.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree.

Experience: 6+ years in IT, with 4+ years in development. Experience must include 4+ years with NextJS, Playwright, and React, and 6+ months of AI Copilot usage. Experience in two coding languages or advanced practice in one language.

Technical Skills: JavaScript, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), React, Next.js, and Playwright.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Monorepo and AEM is an added plus.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid position requiring four days onsite (Monday to Thursday). Candidates should be prepared to discuss their understanding of basic AI concepts, state management in React/Next.js, and their experience with the Next.js App Router.
